Who is Lady Renae thomas-james?

I am Renae Thomas-James Jamaican born and raised who immigrated to Canada in 2013.

I am originally from the beautiful island 🌴 of Jamaica and moved to Canada in 2013 with a boy (my husband Marlon James who is also Jamaican). Together we have two beautiful children Asenath and Joshua.

I came from a humble childhood where God, love and appreciation for others were of utmost importance.

Because of my humble beginnings, I believe that I see the world in a different but beautiful light. While I can appreciate a high-ticket item, I don't believe it makes me special. I believe I am special on the inside and that will shine on the outside.

I also own and operate my brand Take Me Away Essentials where I manufacture plant-based hair, skin and body care products. I use aged natural formulation education passed down from my great, great, great grandparents and then to me. Our family was poor, and all they had was the vegetation around them to make their hair care, skincare and medicine. Though natural medicine was very effective, my love for hair and skin pulled me more towards formulation for hair and skin care. Check out Take Me Away Essentials

Moving to Canada has taught me many things that I took for granted. Things like unprocessed food, zero clutter (I am still shocked at how much the average person stores in their garage), having a glass of wine being misconstrued as being stressed and my absolute favourite “You are having way… too much fun you must be drunk”….

Hmmm No… But…. OOOKKK then!!!

I intend to use my platforms to service in areas I specialize in.

I hope to bring light to a healthy, productive and constructive way of “BEING” mentally, spiritually, emotionally and socially “WELL”.

In a world where almost everyone is running around like a chicken without a head and not able to get a good grasp on their lives, let me help you declutter your mind, focus on what “is” and go back to BEING human beings and nor human “doings”

This is a judgement-free zone, and I want us to develop a can-do mindset together.

I am a plant mom who naturally cultivates an environment for my plant and my mental health to flourish. I also help other plant moms cultivate their own jungle to help their mental and emotional well-being.

As someone who practices mindful living and has developed a skincare brand around being mindful I have also developed a program to help women live mindfully with a carefully cultivated community with a focus on healing mentally, spiritually, emotionally and socially!
